Hudson River Shakespeare Company to Present The Bad Seed a Psychological Horror Play

Hudson Falls (April 20 2015) -- The Hudson River Shakespeare Company will present The Bad Seed at The Little Theater on the Farm, 27 Plum Road in Fort Edward on Friday, May 1st at 8pm, Saturday, May 2nd at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $10 at the door, $8 for seniors.

The Bad Seed is a story of a Christine Penmark who begins to question her daughter Rhoda who has a terrible secret. It’s a question of nature versus nurture in this award winning novel by William March adapted for the theater by Maxwell Anderson, and later a movie by the same name. “The drama of the show was fabulously creepy in the most entertaining way possible and things happen that you don't expect.” said Kathleen Daly, director.

The cast includes 2 young actors sharing acting duties for the child lead Rhoda. 14 year old Savannah Duffy of Hudson Falls, and 8 year old Rosalie Toth Carlsen of Glens Falls. Sarabeth Mason of South Glens Falls who plays the mother Christine. The cast is rounded out by company regulars, Janelle Hammond, Judy Gross, David Lundgren, and Andrew Daly.
