The Hudson River Shakespeare Company will hold auditions for its summer production of Henry V on Wednesday, June 10, at 7 pm at the United Methodist Church, 227 Main Street, Hudson Falls. Parts are available for ages ten and up. No previous experience or prepared material is necessary however it is important to be on time.
Henry V recounts the battle of Agincourt and the young king's attempt to regain land lost to France. Henry then seeks to unite the two countries through marriage to a French princess. The play contains some of Shakespeare's most memorable and inspiring speeches.
Rehearsals for this production will be evenings, 6 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Thursday, June 22 through July 16. There will be four performances July 17 and 18 at 8:00 PM and two matinees on July 18 and 19 at 2:00 PM at the Little Theater on the Farm.
