The Hudson River Shakespeare Company will present its summer production of As You Like It on Friday and Saturday, June 30th and July 1 st , at 8 pm with two matinees, Saturday and Sunday, July1 st and 2nd at 2 pm at The Strand Theater, 210 Main Street, Hudson Falls.
As You Like It has it all; grumpy old men, rebellious children, star-crossed lovers, a clever fool, dreamy shepherds and a forest full of merry men. It continues to be one of Shakespeare's best loved comedies with lots ofsilliness and toe-tapping music. Under the direction of Andy Daly, with Bruce VanGuilder as musical director, the pastoral comedy comes to life with Lauren Austin and Jacob Crowd as the young lovers, Rosalind and Orlando. The cast includes Ocie Tucker, Rosalie Carlsen, Jereme Young, Joshua Young, and Travis Augusta, along with Victoria Hafner, Emily Austin, Joe Tucker, Henry Olson, Molly Oddy, and Dave Lundgren.
