Currently inactive as an actor, I am a member of the Playwright’s Corner. For 10+ years, I participated as an actor. Favorite memories include the incredible opportunity to play Lady Macbeth, the magic of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” all the comedies and the more contemporary shows. “Doubt” and “The Bad Seed” stand out in my mind. Playing the Celtic harp for Christmas shows was a privilege. After 35 years of teaching high school- and occasionally directing plays- Hudson River Shakespeare Company became a natural and liberating part of retirement. A joyful and grateful “Huzzah!” to Kathleen and Andy and their gifted community of artists.
